Biography

Hailing from Lausanne, Dark Whispers operates at the crossroads of alternative rock and modern metal, blending raw intensity, melodic textures, and dark atmospheres.

Founded in 2016, the band quickly found its identity through introspective and powerful compositions. Their debut album Kill Me (2018) laid the foundations of their universe, balancing emotional fragility

with electric tension. With Timeless (2021), Dark Whispers further refined their songwriting and sense of contrast, driven by standout tracks such as Holding the Wasted and King of My Kingdom. The music video for You (2022) illustrated this artistic evolution, showcasing a bolder and more visual direction.

In 2023, the band reached a new milestone with the EP VOID, a dense and cohesive project accompanied by four music videos, further strengthening their sonic and visual identity. Dark Whispers stands out through an intense stage presence and a constant drive to explore the contrasts between power and emotion.

Dark Whispers is preparing to release their new EP, FADES (2026), recorded at Conatus Studio. A first single, The Striker, released on March 13, marks a bold shift toward a sharp and atmospheric modern metal sound. The official release and launch event are scheduled for late 2026. Following a series of notable releases, the band has made its mark on stage with energetic performances, notably at Paillote Festival, Summerside Festival, and Undertown.

Kelly

Lead Vocal & Guitar

President

Kelly first discovered music through the piano, which she studied for six years. Drawn to heavier sounds, she then moved behind the drum kit, gaining solid live experience playing in several bands.

Driven by a strong creative vision, she expanded her skills by learning guitar and bass to start writing her own material. With Dark Whispers, she found the perfect outlet to express her sound—blending power and melody—and now leads the band into an intense, rock/metal universe.

Sébastien

Guitar

Vice-President

Sébastien began his musical journey at the age of seven, studying xylophone for ten years. At fourteen, he discovered a passion for guitar, first drawn to clean melodies before moving toward electric guitar and heavier sounds. Over the years, he played in several bands before joining Dark Whispers. Influenced by rock and metal music, his playing helps shape the band’s powerful, rhythmic, and energetic sound.

Nico

Bass Guitar

Treasurer

After giving up piano classes which did not really match with his metal aspirations, Nico switches to bass guitar. This allows to open himself to other musical styles and to contribute to various projects either blues or funk. He finally joins Dark Whispers in 2020. His way of playing bass brings groove and precision to the songs.

Laura

Drums

Laura started to play drums at the age of 4 with her mother’s pans and lids. When she was 13, she asked to follow drum courses at school and her parents hoped it was only for 3 months… 3 months later, she asked her first drum set. Even if sometimes she listens some commercial music, she prefers rock sounds. Following the music road, she got different experiences and she finally joined Dark Whispers in 2020.

Camille

Backing vocals & keyboards

It’s at 5 years old that Camille choses to play piano. She sings in several choirs since her childhood. As teenager she discovers the fun to play together with other people and to write her own songs. In 2018 and 2019 she takes part to a couple of Dark Whispers’ shows. In 2020, she joins DW as permanent member. Her voice harmonizes perfectly with Kelly’s and her Keyboard brings even more melodiousness and nuances.

Emilie

Secretary

Emilie has been immersed in the artistic world since childhood as a classical dancer, developing discipline, precision, and a strong stage presence.
